I have a mental block when it comes to drawing animals in their natural state. That's what photographs are for, in my humble opinion. I need the animals in my work to be oppositional in position, or reflective of humanity in some way to make you think of them as living, breathing, feeling beings.

An octopus serving vegan sushi under the sea fits that perspective.
